The MMSD Technology Advisory Group focuses on building partnerships between schools, parents, higher education, community agencies, and businesses and corporations to promote effective technology use. The Technology Advisory Group is a forum for ongoing technology planning that involves a diverse group of community stakeholders. The group determines which specific projects it will become involved with on an action oriented basis.

Just a few projects slated for action in 2010:

• Annual Technology Forum
• Corporate sponsorship of a professional development program
• Expanded work/internship experience options for students in information technology
• Expanded service-learning projects
• Explore the creation of technology enabled lighted schoolhouses
